Altar Society Annual Bazaar 2011

The Altar Society Annual Bazaar was a grand affair - many items to purchase (new, old, Christmas, toys, crafts, food, etc.) and a beautiful choice of prizes to win.  It was a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit.  We thank everyone who attended and helped support the Altar Society and St. John's.

St. John's 78th Annual Communion Breakfast at the Double Tree in Fort Lee on June 12.  The brunch was delicious as usual - variety of juices, coffee, tea, bacon, sausage, eggs, an omelet station, variety of fish dishes, chicken, blintzes, waffles, salad, croissants, bagels and, of course pastries.  Our speaker was Fr. Pat Kelly of the SMA Fathers in Tenafly.  He was originally from Belfast, Ireland, and spent many years in the missions in Africa, the Philippines, etc.His talk was very interesting. We also had a beautiful French melody sung by one of our members - Adeline Dennis

We embrace friends and family, neighbors and strangers, those with gifts and those in need as equal members of the Body of Christ. We aspire to heal and give hope to others by reaching out to meet their spiritual and material needs.
