St. John the Evangelist Parish

I am especially grateful:

            -to God who has continually graced me with my vocation and keeps beckoning me to ever more abundant life, love, truth and challenge

            -to my family and friends whose love and support “light my fire”

            -to my Franciscan community who ground me in a way of life for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

            -to all those who have helped to make this celebration possible, especially Fr. Rich and the community of St. John’s Parish, Deacon Joe Yandoli, and Marilyn Badami

            -to all those priests both living and deceased, especially Fr. Jim Boyce, O. Carm. who have blessed, supported and enriched my faith journey

            -to Don Kramer, Bernadette Flaim and St. John’s Choir for the gift of beautiful music and song

            -to all those with whom I have ministered over the years, you have taught me more than you’ll ever know

            -to Arlene Bernard who provided the flowers for this Mass and Nora and Arthur Allen and Rose Quiambao who provided the arrangements for Peter Kramer Hall

            -to the Knights of Columbus who assisted with the welcoming and provided the “cheer” for the reception

            -to each and every one of you who have come from far and near to celebrate with me.
